Delivery, Returns & FAQs
Delivery

Each item is handmade on order, therefore, please allow 2 weeks for delivery.  If you need your order sooner than 2 weeks - please drop us an email or message us via the chat box to see if we can expedite your order.

Postage is made by first class recorded delivery (signature required) with Royal Mail and will take between 1 and 3 days from shipping in the UK.  International delivery can be up to 10 days from the shipping date depending on the location.

Returns

Although we are sure you will love your unique handmade jewellery, we will happily accept an exchange or refund for unworn jewellery within 14 days of receipt.  Just fill out the returns form and post back to us - please retain proof of postage.  We recommend returns to be sent by recorded or tracked delivery and any other method of return is at the buyer's risk.

We hope that you understand that any earrings or any personalised pieces will only be refundable / exchangable if it is faulty or there is a problem.   Rings can be exchanged for a different size only, as these are all made exactly to size upon order.  If you wish to drop us an email about this, we will be happy to discuss it with you to see if there is anything we can do.

12 Month Guarantee

Your jewellery is guaranteed for 12 months, so if there is any problem within this time, just drop us an email and we will sort it for you!  For plated pendants / pieces this also includes free replating within your first 12 months (though we expect that this won't actually be required and your jewellery will last well beyond this time frame).

What is your jewellery made of?

It all starts with sterling silver, some are then gold filled (explained below) or gold plated.  In both cases this is a layer of 9ct gold.  It will never go green, the 'worst' that will happen is fading of the gold to reveal the silver.

What is gold filled?

Gold filled is more hard wearing than gold plated jewellery, and it is a mechanically bonded 9ct gold, bonded to sterling silver.  It is a sensible choice to keep the gold looking as good as new for as long as possible. The bonding process makes it much less prone to tarnishing / fading.

How hard wearing is the plating and how long should it last?

The plating process is a layer of solid 9ct gold applied to sterling silver.  It is thorough and it is also a thicker layer than is required to call a piece 'Vermeil'.  It is therefore one of the best plating options you can get.   We are guaranteeing your gold plating for at least 12 months and will replace or replate your jewellery at no additional cost to you during your first 12 months if it needs the service.

How should I care for my jewellery?

Sterling silver and solid gold pieces will not tarnish.  Gold filled and gold plated have to be treated slightly differently as they may eventually wear thinner, revealing some of the underlying silver.  To preserve the jewellery we recommend staying away from anything water related whilst wearing it.  This will help preservation.  It will also help if you do not spray hairspray / perfume directly onto the jewellery and add your jewellery to your outfit at the end.

Can you do rose gold plated?

We don't offer this as standard, but in theory any of the pieces you see can also be plated in rose gold.  if you are interested in this, please drop us an email and we will see what we can do for you.

I am allergic to nickel, is your jewellery safe?

Yes, our jewellery dies not contain nickel.

I don't know my ring size, what should I do?

The best option is to check one of your other rings (you could measure the diameter in mm and search what size that equates to), go into any reputable jewellery store, who would be happy to measure your finger for you.  Otherwise, you can get a piece of string, wrap it around your finger, and measure it against a ring chart showing circumference in mm to get the ring size.

I have a vision, can you create bespoke pieces?

Yes, we love doing this.  Get in touch and we will start trying to bring your vision to life.

Where is your jewellery sourced and is it ethical?

All metal is sourced and made in the UK, and is handmade in the UK.  The precious stones and diamonds are sourced all over the world.  We undertake due diligence on all of the companies that we work with and only choose those that we believe are ethical, and also use recycled materials (mostly metal) wherever possible.
